Company History

The stations which make up EAB of Russellville and EAB of Morrilton came together in 1998, when the principals of KVOM, Inc. formed River Valley Radio Group, LLC, and acquired three Russellville/Dardanelle stations, KWKK-FM, KCJC-FM and KCAB-AM. They put those together with an FM license in Atkins, AR, and successfully obtained the construction permit from the FCC in April, 1998.  That station eventually became KVLD-FM.  The six stations were purchased by Max Media of Arkansas, LLC, in June of 2003.  The stations were purchased by East Arkansas Broadcasters in January of 2014. There are now two radio groups: EAB of Russellville (KCJC, KWKK and KCAB) and EAB of Morrilton (KVOM-FM, KVOM-AM and KVLD).

The Morrilton stations operate out of a facility on Highway 113 West, while the Russellville stations operate as River Valley Radio in their studios at 2705 East Parkway.
